The richly diverse menu includes stuffed Patagonian Squid, Prawns, Norwegian Salmon and Sashimi Tuna. For those who enjoy meat there are tasty cuts of beef and tender lamb, as well as game delicacies such as Oryx Carpaccio or grilled Oryx steak, and even a Surf & Turf platter. A wide selection of vegetarian dishes are available and our delicious homemade Spanakopita is a favorite menu item. The head chef, Uwe Hanssen, regularly updates the menu with new and innovative dishes.
Besides serving up a variety of culinary delights, The Tug Restaurant, also offers a selection of more than 140 of the finest South African wines, a large range of premium alcohol brands as well as French champagne. Special seafood delights from the wild Namibian ocean include Kingklip, Kabeljou, Lobster, Sole, local Oysters, served alongside fresh green asparagus from the Swakopmund River Valley.
